MDEF 2026
The 13th Workshop MDEF (Modelli Dinamici in Economia e Finanza-Dynamic Models in Economics and Finance) will be held in Urbino from 10 to 12 of September 2026. Like in the previous MDEFs, the official language is English. The workshop program will start on the morning of Thursday 10, and will end at lunch time of Saturday 12.
The conferences of the workshop will be given at Palazzo Battiferri, via Saffi n. 42, where the School of Economics of the University of Urbino is located, in the centre of the Renaissance city, very close to the famous Ducal Palace.
Fee payment window: 1 February – 30 June. The regular registration fee is 350 Euros before June 30, 2026 and 400 Euros after this date. Reduced fees: 170 Euros for students and unemployed participants.
The fee includes VAT 22%, all meals (lunches and dinners) coffee breaks and social events.
SOCIAL EVENTS. On Wednesday 9 a "welcome party" will be offered at Bar Basili, in the main square "piazza della Repubblica". A music concert is scheduled for the evening of Thursday 10. On Friday 11 a special dinner will be offered at the University College "Il Colle", 1 Km far from the city center.
A selection of papers presented at MDEF 2026 will be considered for publication in special issues of the following journals. Further details and submission deadlines will be announced in due course.

Deadlines
Participants are required to submit a registration form and the title of the presentation together with a short abstract (maximum one page) by May 31, 2026.
The registration form should be copied and pasted into the body of the email, while the abstract must be attached as a Word, TeX, or PDF file. Both documents should be sent to fabio.tramontana@uniurb.it and francesca.grassetti@uniurb.it.
Applicants will be notified of acceptance, or informed if the submission is deemed out of scope, by June 10, 2026.
Hotel booking should be done between February 1 and June 30, 2026. After this date the availability of rooms is not guaranteed.
The deadline for the payment of the fee is June 30, 2026.
